Review: Buddy Games got some harsh reviews, c’mon guys! After the year we have had it makes a nice change of pace that we have a movie we can escape in and have a blast, especially knowing that actor and director actually does the Buddy Games as an annual event in his life!
The movie is essentially a movie that you watch with the guys while having some beers and after one to many drinks decide to try and re-create the insane stunts/antics these guys do.
A highlight of the movie was when the guys have a challenge that involves getting a girl to buy them a drink and then dance with them, sounds easy right? Well the challenging part is they have until their laxitive kicks in. It does make for some wincing fun.
Buddy Games has all likeable characters and is a fun escapism movie, especially at this time we are having in life. Josh Duhamel delivers a fun movie while making his directional debut! If you like The Hangover, American Pie or want to watch an R-rated Grown Ups that doesn’t feature Adam Sandler (thankfully) then this movie is for you!
