Death Kiss stars Charles Bronson look-a-like Robert ‘Bronzi’ Kovacs as ‘The Stranger’ a Vigilante getting rid of low life scum on the mean streets.

Horror director Rene Perez brings us a cool slick vigilante throw back movie reminiscent of the first two Death Wish movies, the movie feels like a sequel to the original franchise and Bronzi was born to play the part. Perez delivers on the good with action scenes, fist fights and shoot-outs and we are treated to buckets of blood when the low life’s are blown away by ‘The Strangers’ revolver.

On supporting cast duty we have Daniel Baldwin who plays radio DJ Dan Forthright, who is sick of the crime in the city. Baldwins character fills the narrative side and speaks some true hard truths that I personally think wouldn’t make it into a Hollywood movie. A commend Perez on his no bullshit and say it as it is approach. As our leading lady we have Eva Hamilton playing Ana a single mother who ‘The Stranger’ watches out for. Our main villain is played Richard Tyson, he plays gang leader Tyrell. Tyrell is a crazy twisted sack of shit that ‘The Stranger’ must deal with and he does in very effective manner. Stormi Maya has a small supporting role and her character has a very rough time and doesn’t get it easy, it’s cool to see her in another movie as she was recently in Perez’s previous release Playing With Dolls: Havoc.

There’s a cool twist which I don’t want to give away. This movie oozes everything from the classic Canon Movies of the 80’s and Bronzi brings life to such a great character that in his own right will be iconic. Many reviews have stated Bronson Is Back…. I disagree. My take on it is Bronzi is here!! Death Kiss is a slick low budget action movie that delivers on every level and is the closest movie to a proper reboot of the Death Wish franchise. Somebody should have hired Perez instead of Eli Roth to helm the Death Wish remake.

I cannot wait to see a sequel and I hope to see more action movies from Bronzi in the future to come. Death Kiss is Action Certified!!
