Review: Ahh man I was buzzing for this movie, I love Stallone movies! This movie also featured Daniel Bernhardt and Max Zhang so I was once again stoked, not to mention Big Dave Bautista was returning. After the trailer dropped I knew I had to see this.

Stallone openly admitted he wasn’t proud of the second movie in the franchise. It does kind of show as it is not mentioned at all in this entry. This entry is a sequel to the first movie. Devon Sawa plays our big bad Lester Clark Jr, who is the son of Lester Clark from the first movie who was portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio.

Lester Jr wants revenge for what Ray done to get even with his dad at the end of the first movie, so he sets up a whole scheme in order to lure Breslin (Stallone) into his trap.

This movie reignites the old school action movie vibe of the 80’s and 90’s and is full of amazing fight scenes that are shot at a wide angle so we can actually see it is really the stars giving all they have. Sylvester Stallone appears to be having such a great time and he even channels his inner Rambo towards the end taking out some goons in a tunnel. Another highlight was watching Max Zhang – who is proving to be quite the Action star as of recently – and Daniel Bernhardt fight it out which was an absolute blast! Dave Bautista also got a brutal fight scene but his scene in the finale with a shotgun was memorable and brought a massive smile to my face, even clenched a fist out of excitement. Devon Sawa plays such a cold villain and there was some things I didn’t see coming. The movie definitely earns the R rating with some brutal kills and Sly dropping some major F-Bombs.

Overall I truly loved this movie and had a blast watching it, the movie doesn’t slow down and before you know it the credits are rolling. Stallone proves once again why he is the king of action, bring on Rambo 5 & The Expendables 4!!
