BloodStorm is an action / martial arts/ survival movie starring: Krista Hedins and (introducing) David Kurzhal .

Krista Hedins plays a rookie cop out on her first field assignment where she, and her fellow police officers, Michael Pare and Richard Tyson have to transport a dangerous criminal named Bennet (played by David Kurzhal) to a Super Max Prison on a lone Island. A prison that houses the deadliest of inmates. Bennet, an ex assassin should fit right in. Once they arrive at the Island, they realize that there has been a riot and the prisoners are loose.

The rookie (Krista Hedins) sees her male partners shot down by the armed and ravenous escaped inmates. She takes her prisoner and finds a place to hide. But they are surrounded from all sides. As the escaped inmates close in on the beautiful young rookie cop, Bennet (David Kurzhal) makes her an offer. If she un-cuffs him and helps him escape, he will use his skills as an assassin to fight off the hordes of inmates to keep her safe. An uncertain alliance forms in this blood soaked fight for survival.

Rene Perez is back, with what looks like his biggest budget 80’s style adventure. We know we’re in safe hands with Perez at the helm. A director who shows no fear and no signs of woke Hollywood pandering. This movie will kick ass…just like the 80’s.
