Dying For Living, Patrick Kilpatrick’s Entertaining Autobiography Review (2019)

Patrick Kilpatrick’s anticipated two-part memoir, DYING FOR LIVING: Sins & Confessions of a Hollywood Villain & Libertine Patriot (published by Boulevard Books), offers a searing and scandalous literate look behind the actor’s unconventional upbringing, political misadventures in journalism, a successful career as the entertainment industry’s go-to antagonist, and juicy unprecedented celebrity tales – all the while intricately weaving in brazen patriotism and unparalleled humor.

Review: This is the first of a two-volume set. The first book revolves around Patrick’s early life. This book was such an amazing read, I found myself glued or should I say bound to it. Patrick has definitely lived quite a exciting life and he details every bit of it without mincing words. Patrick is a true straight shooter. There are moments of sadness, romance, drama, testosterone exploding excitement and some true laugh out loud moments, that are way to funny to even begin to describe.

fist fights, scuffles with mafioso kids and more, car chases/races, many romances, growing up with a very rocky relationship with his mum, who he says wanted to kill him and also breaking his back and a period as a Bodyguard to some famous stars. Patrick has lived it all and shares all his stories no-holds barred. Being a fan of Patrick’s I was instantly drew to this book and couldn’t wait to read it. Patrick’s life was very different from what I had expected and it was a true pleasure getting to know his back story. Being a fan of his ever since I saw him take on Jean Claude Van Damme in Death Warrant.

This being Volume One of Two, it only really features Patrick’s early life, the Second volume is teased at the end of the book and it seems to be as good as this one. But I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read, loves autobiographies, loves movies… Basically, go out and buy this book. It can be purchased through
