Strike Back started off in 2010, the first series featured Richard Armitage in the lead role as SAS soldier John Porter, along with The Walking Deads Andrew Lincoln in a supporting role. As Richard Armitage couldn’t commit to a second series.

Strike Back was then taken off our screens in 2016. In 2017 it was announced that Strike Back would return but have a fresh new approach to it, It would also not feature Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton.
The new line-up would feature a four person team instead of the two. The four new lead characters were Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson), Sgt Thomas ‘Mac’ McAllister (Warren Brown), Captain Natalie Reynolds (Roxanne McKee) and Lance Corporal Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwarta). There has been no news on casting or plot details yet. But filming is more than likely to begin later this year.
