Operation Red Sea Review (2018)

Operation Red Sea (2018)

Starring: Zhang Yi, Huang Jingyu, Hai Qing, Du Jiang and Prince Mak.

Directed By: Dante Lam

Synopsis: Terrorists are plotting to obtain nuclear materials, putting the lives of hostages and citizens in jeopardy. Only one Elite Force team has the skills, knowledge and firepower to execute Operation Red Sea – a deadly and potentially suicidal mission to rescue the hostages and end the terrorist threat.

Review: Operation Red Sea is a full-throttle explosive ride from start to finish, each individual action piece is unique and nail biting and has you on the end of your seat. From the beginning action scene where we first meet our team on a hostage rescue mission aboard a freighter that has been taken over by Somalian pirates or to when the team are fighting their way out of a Zaka terrorist camp with odds stacked against them later in the film, it is guaranteed your adrenaline will be pumping. We don’t really learn to much about the team, we know all we need to know really. They’re are a team and brothers/sisters in arms. This movie will be hard for Hollywood to top by any means and I cannot see the movie being rivalled by anything for the foreseeable future. I really hope we get another ‘Operation’ movie as even though they’re not related, Operation Mekong and Operation Red Sea are two amazing movies. Dante Lam has excelled the quality of action movie and I really am looking forward to his next project.

Operation Red Sea is a not to be missed movie, do not hesitate and go out and buy yourself a copy now!! 10/10
